Can I report someone that does not keep their yards in good condition?
Yes. Constituents are encouraged to call 311 (or 617-666-3311, if outside Somerville) and report a property with grass or brush growth that crosses over a property line. An inspector must be able to either: A. Evaluate the complaint from the sidewalk, or, B. The complainant must provide their name and contact information so an inspector may follow up to schedule a time to access to their property for a visual inspection.
