Section 15-3 Schedule of Fees

The Traffic Commission hereby adopts the following schedule of permits granted in connection with permit parking.


Residential Permit $50*
Replacement Residential Permit (1st time) $25*
Replacement Residential Permit (2nd time) $50*
2 Day Visitor Permit $30 each*
Replacement Visitor Permit (1st time) $25 each *
Replacement Visitor Permit (2nd time) $50 each *

3 Day Visitor Permit $50 each**
Special Visitor Permit (3-7 days) $35
Extended Visitor Permit (8-30 days) $50

Commercial Vehicle Permit $100/yearly
Non-Commercial Permit $25
Commercial Exempt School Vans $50 yearly

Citywide Placard/Health Care Professional $50 - 12 months
Citywide Placard/Home Maker $40 - 12 months
Military $20
Religious Organization $50 - 12 months
Medical $50 - 12 months
Business Permit (On Street) $300 yearly
Business Permit (Off Street) $100 per month

School Department/Teacher Permit $15
Rental Car Permits (up to 1 month) $50/month
Contractors Permits (per vehicle, up to 1 month) $50
Landlord Permits (living outside of Somerville) $100 yearly

Landlord Permits 10+ properties (living outside of Somerville)  $200 yearly

Realtor Permits (8am-9pm) $100 yearly

Temporary “No Parking” Signs $5 each
Moving Van Permit  $50/day
Moving Container/Portable On Demand Storage (POD) $50/day

Party/One Time Event Permits $1 per permit/per day

Valet Parking Permit $40/linear ft or $800/space for each day of the week; $150/sign every 5 yrs

Miscellaneous Business Permit  $400/year
 
Auxiliary Landlord Permit $100
Auxiliary Landlord Permit (10+ properties) $200
Artist Permit $75 yearly
